Abolitionist in the Round

A friend of mine put together a concert in San Francisco with a number of other musicians and they called it "Abolitionist in the Round". The concert helped raise money to donate to the organization Not For Sale, an organization dedicated to put an end to modern slavery (human sex trafficking). I would encourage you to visit the Not For Sale website to learn more about what is happening in our world right now.

The Hervey Family

The Hervey's are dear friends and are truly an amazing family. Amongst other passions, Chet and Kat have their own photography business underneath the warm Southern Californian sun. Check them out at  Hervey Photography.

I believe this was their baby Owen's first portrait session and the little fella did great. We started taking photos in the San Francisco Presidio, but due to the chill in the air we headed back to our Burlingame studio.

Thank you Hervey family.

Tan Engagement

Melanie and I had a great time during Leon and Cheryl's engagement session. We started down by the Ferry Building in San Francisco, then made our way towards Crissy Fields so Leon could bust out his Superman shirt and show off his flying abilities. We wrapped up the session in style as our sunlight slipped into the ocean.

Miss National Asia Pageant

My wife Melanie was asked to create updos for a few contestants in the Miss National Asia Pageant 2009. I went with her to photographer her in action and capture a couple photos of the pageant. Here are a few images. More images can be see on the L Salon website where Melanie works: http://lsalon.com/hair-shows/ASIAN-MISS-NATIONAL-ASIA-PAGEANT.htm
